AI Governance Observatory
Monitoring AI laws, incidents, standards, and governance trends to support timely and informed decision-making.
AIGPC's AI Governance Observatory tracks key developments in the global Al
governance landscape, including emerging regulations, international standards, Al-related incidents, and policy trends.
The Observatory provides structured insights to help policymakers, regulators,
researchers, and organizations understand what is changing, why it matters, and how they should prepare.
Through the AI Watch platform, AIGPC turns global AI developments into practical governance intelligence for Thailand, ASEAN, and the international community.
Capacity building
Building the skills, tools, and institutional capability needed for responsible Al governance.
AIGPC supports policymakers, regulators, public agencies, and organizations in developing the practical capabilities required to govern Al responsibly.
Through tailored training programmes, executive learning, practical resources, and international collaboration, the Centre helps stakeholders understand Al governance challenges, apply relevant frameworks, and design context-sensitive governance approaches.
Our capacity-building work focuses not only on awareness, but also on helping
institutions translate Al governance principles into policies, processes, roles, and real implementation.
Expert Network
Connecting multidisciplinary expertise to strengthen responsible Al governance.
AIGPC convenes a trusted network of researchers, policymakers, practitioners,
regulators, and thought leaders working across Al policy, technology, ethics, law, business, and public administration.
The Expert Network supports knowledge exchange, policy dialogue, applied research, and international cooperation. It helps countries and institutions address emerging Al governance challenges with broader perspectives, practical expertise, and evidence-informed guidance.
Through this network, AIGPC bridges global knowledge with local implementation needs, supporting responsible Al governance in Thailand, ASEAN, and the wider international community.

AIGPC Contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals
The AI Governance Practice Center (AIGPC) by ETDA drives AI development through a strategic framework that leads to concrete Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) outcomes. By aligning our core operations with the AIGPC SDG Wheel, we have integrated key international mandates—specifically UNESCO Outcomes 1-7—into our initiatives. This alignment ensures that the application of AI adheres to ethical principles and serves as a vital catalyst for inclusive digital transformation. Ultimately, these commitments generate measurable progress toward the global development agenda, guaranteeing that AI innovation respects human rights, bridges social divides, and fosters a resilient and sustainable future for all.
